Her family is nowhere to be found, having left abruptly for an important event. Alone in the house, a familiar warmth seems strangely absent. Emily is left to deal with whatever entities are trying to hunt her down...

this game is amazing i really enjoyed it
/editI really enjoyed the amount of story that was put into this game, I like the art style that reminds me a bit of Bendy & The Ink Machine, and I can appreciate the underlying message about family.

I really enjoyed my time playing! It is definitely a story-driven game with horror aspects, so anyone going in should prepare for a story! That being said, I really enjoyed the story. I was not suspecting the sweet heart felt messaging, but I think it was great! The game it self I like, the design of the environment is really hitting that cartoony aspect and Dusty's design is well made, they hit that "friendly not so friendly" monster mark. I enjoyed the gameplay mechanic; I think both endings "game" were fun. My favorite is the "bad" ending game. However, I do wish some of that was also in the beginning. I feel the beginning can feel drawn out with not much going on other than the story; maybe an event could happen when power is out. I also saw there was a hiding mechanic, but I never really utilized it, and the boarded basement, I feel, was never brought back up. (Unless I missed it somehow.) However, I will say thank you for putting in a chapter selection. I love seeing the other endings provided in a game, and it makes it so much easier to get them! Overall, it was a fun time, and I can't wait to see what else is in store!

Yes, there are other endings, but they're not quite as obvious as the main two. Also, the hiding mechanic was something I was considering, but I couldn't find a way to implement it effectively. However, it does still have a secret use in the game.. a secret one
This game was awesome! It completely exceeded my expectations. This is a great game, not just for a first-time dev but in general! Honestly, I don't have any critiques. It feels like a steal playing a game that's this long for free. Thanks for the experience!

For the voice acting and better animations I wish it had that too. But sadly I am an all new solo dev Without a budget and this is my first game so I tried to do my best.

The game impressed me. Honestly, I discovered the game on Gamejolt, and just watching it made me want to play it immediately, even though I couldn't unlock the other endings. Great game :D
really nice looking game with an interesting story too, especially that smiling entity. loved it.
there was a bug where the camera keeps on looking up when you have a controller plugged in. had to unplug it then restart the game and it fixed it.
I will see how a way to fix the controller input . Thanks for the bug report!
I think it's a pretty attractive game. However, since this is a game that focuses on subtitles, I think it would be nice to be able to adjust the size of the subtitles.

Hold on if you're looking through all the 'Comments' too see if this is a 'Good' enough game or not? Well let me stop you right there! Because not only that this game has a lot of 'Charm' it also was quite long one! So if you're looking for a game that 'Isn't 5 to 10 minutes' long than this is for you! So try it out yourself or if you don't have the time, you can always watch this video!
Plus here's a quick comment: I love Dusty he's a really cool charter & I like the fact that he seems to be some kind of 'Demon' which might be symbolic too one of the many deadly sins!

Very good game !
Sadly I have no gameplay video for you, but this game was hella fun! I played almost 200 free horror games the past few months and this certainly was one of the best. The art style is good, the story is unique. This game would be worth being a paid game in the current state already. VERY good job!
