Just got done playing this and man was it fantastic! Certainly starts slow but the story becomes so much richer towards the end! Not to mention the atmosphere, WOW!. Can't wait to try out your other projects, would love a much longer game just like this one! Come check out my gameplay via my channel. I promise to make you laugh! XD
This game is honestly one of the BEST scary games I've played alongside many more! I wasn't expecting some CRAZY jumpscares, but that's what LIVE for! I'd recommend this game for anyone who's looking forward to downloading it! PROPS TO THE DEVS FOR THIS GAME!!
I thought this was excellent! Unsure if there are other endings or just 2.. but I loved this game and hope there is more! There was a lot of reading to do Haha, and I would've loads to explore more of the house.
I recommended this to a few people. One being Fearegon.
Here is my playthrough!! Please enjoy
This was a really well done horror game! I also really liked the message at the end. I had fun recording this too!
This was an absolute masterpiece! The story, the atmosphere, the scares and that chase scene! This game is criminally underrated!
Loved this game I was not expecting it to be as good as it was. My only complaint is not having a way to skip to the end after beating it to see the other endings but aside from that, amazing game.
PS: The game is good
The settings wont save. I was changing my quality to medium because i have a potato pc but found out it wasn't saving anything.

The game's story was fantastically written! Keep up the awesome work!
very good game. there was a motivational speech at the end of the game. hope to be a full time youtuber one day too!
This game was honestly so great, GOOD JOB!
Dusty very much cute.
Where can I even start with this game...
It is a unique piece of specimen.
Not only talking about the scares here, but what this game teaches us about our family, the devs. really nailed this, and I enjoyed every milisecond of it.
A truly wonderful game!
Amazing! Intense and creepy! Enjoyed reading through the dialogue and watching the story unravel. Beautiful message at the end as well. Thanks!
besides the huge amount of dialogue stuffed in it the game is actually very well made hahah
Super cool- loved this game
I already uploaded the game 7 months ago but I just saw the game again on Itch.Io and I found out that you uploaded another game, maybe I'll try it sometime because I really liked this one.
I loved everything about this! The art style was cool, the storytelling was well done (and really detailed), the jumps were well paced, and it got real dark at times! A hell of an experience!
I enjoyed playing this game and liked the message it conveyed as I did get both endings. I got scared a lot more than expected and that's a good thing. I did like the eeriness that came with the silence but I thought there could have been at least subtle music during some parts. Also thought that some of the notes in the game could've been summarized a bit more and still have the message received the same way. All in all, it was a solid game, and can't wait to see what else you come up with :)
What a solid experience this was! Suggested by hazzaween and I got to say this was definitely worth the time. Only got one of the endings but the game throughout until that point was amazing, story, gameplay, graphics, etc. Made a video on it.

cara em termos de programação senti que tava meio fraco, parecia tipo a filosofia do roberto carlos, meu bem não me quer, sabe, o jogo parecia não me querer, na segunda metade do jogo minha mãe me chamou pra almoçar, se puderem removam isso, atrapalhou bastante na experiência(e minha mãe me bateu por eu não ir almoçar) 2,8453/3,075954 se der adiciona essa linha de código
if i get pai = i happy, volta pra casa pai :)
cara, o que foi isso?
achei genial
THE LITTLE SISTERS DRAWING SAYS "DIDDY" INSTEAD OF "DADDY" 🗣️🗣️🗣️...Anyways great game first play through i sat in the closet and cried 9/10 would recommend
Interesting game. it's like poppy and bendy had a baby lol good creepiness to it. i feel like i was freaking myself out more than the game was meaning to.. but i tend to do that ahaha good job!
love the artstyle, the multiple endings and the storyline was so good. i was expecting a typical indie horror game but what i got was much different shoutout to yall. i highly recommend anyone play this if u havent. heres my gameplay of it.
Love the Style, Colorpalette, minimalistic ui elements and even the dimensions of objects and rooms, this game looks like a small diamond. I will give it a try later. :)
Interesting game. The style of Smiley Dusty seems to be heavily influenced by Bendy and The Ink Machine, or it just reminds me of it. I went against the grain and took the bad ending. Not expecting that minigame, so congrats on the twist. I'd give it overall a 7/10.
An enjoyable expirience. It has some flaws (which I'll adress later), but that doesn't stop it from being good. The message of the game is also great. I also liked how "calling the cops and waiting in a hiding spot" is a valid ending.
Now, the flaws:
1) Showing the monster in full view on the game's page is a bold move, however it definitely didn't help the expirience. Dusty's design works well for seeing small bits of him peeking around something before retreating into the darkness, yet it's too toon-ey to be scary (also the generic "analogue horror eyes" look silly).
2) It's a tad bit too slow, with too much "maybe I should take a nap/wait), it does help set the atmosphere and the good scares are there. Not that I'm saying that walking sim horrors are bad, but doing the "go walk around to grab a key" with nigh nothing substantial happening multiple times in a row is rather boring.
3) The scares aren't scary (for the most part). This is partly due to Dusty being too toony and not posing an actual threat prior to the end part. Closets being hiding spots did put me a bit on edge, but it disapated after the aformentioned "walk around looking for a key at a slow pace" parts.
This game definitely shows potential, but the horror part is lacking and is pulling it down (which is a common flaw amongst indie-horror games). If you plan on making more horror games, try first thinking "why did these things work and scared people in other games?" rather than just mimicking horror elements (as Dusty peeking around obstacles was too common in the time-span of the game to the point it lost it's effect). It can even be as simple as "what things scared me?" and analysing the details.
I hope for even greater successes in your future endeavors, 4DpixelGames, and have a great day!
I have no words to describe how well done it was
i love it 9/10
